hey guys, just when i thought that the cx could no longer be of use to me and that I already surpassed its abilities, I glanced on www.bladecxpro.com and after watching their videos of their kit, the little cx looks like a really fun chopper. Has any one had any experiences withthis kit? thanks

As far as I can tell, they're just Dynam Vortex heli parts repackaged at a higher price. The vented motors are, for sure. Check http://www.bphobbies.com and see for yourself. When adapting the bladecxpro shorter flybar to your CX/2, you still need the lower ball link from your old flybar. That's because the flybar he supplies is actually designed for a Vortex. Not to say the parts don't work as advertised... just know what you're actually getting. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this. Neall

Yes, they are the Dynam Vortex motors. Makes sense... unless he has a million dollar manufacturing plant in his back room, he's getting them from somewhere. His supplier must be ok with it, because I suspect he sells a ton of them. Can't fault the guy for being enterprising. Neall

I read a post he made on this forum awhile back and he swears that he gets all the parts in bulk and that there's some exorbinate rate of bad parts and that he tests everything before he sells it. IDK, just putting out there what I read. It could all be BS.

Well, whether or not he filters out-of-tolerance parts (at his expense), it's just his justification for charging more for simply repackaging cheaper parts. The way I look at it, if he figured out that he can resell Vortex parts as high performance CX parts, and they work as advertised, then he can sell them for whatever price the market will bear. A lot of people criticize him for it, but it's free enterprise. He doesn't force people to buy his parts. He doesn't appear to mislead buyers as far as what the parts do, and he never claimed you couldn't find equivalent parts cheaper. Yet, with knowledge comes power... I'll buy the Vortex parts from here on out, and save 50%. That's free enterprise too. Neall
