I was having a nice flight no hard landing just do a touch and go to practice soft landing....
and like the third or fourth take off on a fresh pack that I had been flying for about 2 minutes.
Spins out of control, the lower rotor wont start turning till about half throttle....
Did I blow a motor??

Hmm....... that could be your 4-in-1. It sounds like your heli is doing exactly what I MAKE mine do. I hit the rudder full right and spin the heli to take off and land. It's spectacular with my easylights!
Anyway, it sounds more like a 4-in-1 or Tx failure than a motor failure to me.

Well... I've read all the CX posts on this board and don't recall on like yours. All I can recommend is to go through it thouroughly. Make sure your shafts aren't bent, collars in the right place - not unnecessary binding or play in the shafts. Look at the meshing of the main gears and see if there's some - just a little - daylight between the pinion teeth and the main gear gullet. Maybe there was stress and a bounce released it so that the pinion gear is now too tight against the main gear? After all that, I'd be tempted to turn down the gain pot and crank up the proportional pot to see if you can get the blades back in synch. I try to get the proportional pot dead on with no yaw (with the trim centered) then bring the gain back up. Hope that helped.

every once in a while when I fly my cx2, I get it flying in the air and all of a sudden the red light on the 4 in 1 will go on and the heli will drop to the ground. as soon as it lands on the ground I power down the throttle and power it back up and it flies fine again. I know it cant be the battery is low because i never fly on a single battery for more than about 10 minutes. This drop thing happens as soon as a couple of minutes into the flight. Does anyone have suggestions of what is happening?
I have a heat sink and i dont run but one battery at a time, i let the motors cool back down before i fly with the next fully charged battery.

I am still kind of new to the blade cx2 and i am in the process of trying to change the outer shaft. I pulled everything off and switched it over but it looks like there is some kind of bearing in the bottom of the shaft where the gear is hooked on. The new shaft doesent have that bearing. I cant get that bearing off of the old shaft to put on the new shaft. is it supposed to come off, and if so how.

It could well turn out to be the 4-in-1, but I had the same issue whenever I put new batteries in the TX. If I run the TX batteries down into the 5.X volt region, I never lose control and notice no loss in range or control. Odd but true.
