Default i was wondering

if anyone here knew how to extract the inner steel shaft pole from the upper head. I have the performance aluminum upper shaft, the blue one and its very difficult to take the steel pole from the head hub. Is it suspose to come out? I dont want to apply so much pressure that I damage the upper head hub!!

I don't fully understand your question. Are you trying to remove the steel shaft from the old, plastic upper rotor head? Or from the new aluminum one?

remove all of the linkages from your swashplate. Pull the little metal pin that situated perpendicular to the axis of the main shaft. Then just pull the entire head straight up.

I assumed Josh was referring to a CX/2 and not a CP, but I'm not sure.
