How to I connect my blade cp controller to my computer so i can use it in clearview simulator? The clearveiw site says I can do this:
This options is almost free and works well if you have solid computer skills. Use a simple stero cable to connect your Tx to the PC sound card. You will need to download and install SmartPropoPlus interface software together with PPJoy joystick driver. This is the most economical option and works very well.
Right, so for you computer people How exactly do I manage to do that?

your cp transmitter can be used with any pc flight sim as far as i know. the trick is getting your tx to be recognized by the pc as a joystick. there are 2 ways to do this, imo the method you mentioned is the harder way. check out the page i linked below. with some pc and soldering skills, it should be fairly easy to follow (it's almost a cookbook procedure):

btw, there are other links on that page which include a page for downloading & setting up ppjoy. to complete the cable, you'll need a PC parallel port connector, an S-video connector, a npn2222 transistor, a 470ohm resistor, and some cat 5 (i used cat5 because i had extra laying around my garage, but you could use any cable that has 3 or more wires). fyi, there is no reference to bios settings anywhere on those pages; before you install ppjoy, go in your cmos and make sure you're parallel port.
good luck minitman! btw, my mini-t has a oil shocks, al tranny, ball diff, HD slipper, 3S 910mAh lipo, mamba sport (not the race or extreme :-(), wheelie bars, and reversed front arms (=longer wheel base). i love that little guy, it has smoked every car i've drag raced, including many super dollar 1/8th scales.
