I've mastered hover, side in , nose in, and pirouettes and am just getting into forward flight as weather allows on my CP pro.
I'm needing a new motor and was planning to eventually go brushless so I guess my question is in regards to the timing of the whole endeavour.
Should I continue on my learning cycle and buy a stock motor or can i jump to brushless power without scewing up the learning curve?
(I'm also flying for the most part in my basement, 100% comfortable and am hoping brushless will not be too much for the basement or my learning when i do go outside.)

think your ready, but get that thing down the park and give yourself some space-
its fantastic fun
brushless is a great upgrade - gives you the power to get out of sticky situations.
depending on how big your basement is, be very careful as you get twice as much power!
i have to say doing ths upgrade made me get a better heli - never could get the tail
to hold as well as i wanted!
now have a falcon and although it is bang for yur buck, wish i saved and got a trex
