Why 2.4 in CX but Not CP?
If any of these copters could have used the 2.4, It seems it should have been the CP. I have the original CX and based on my experience, the 2.4 ghz would have added nothing. I haven't had any glitches that a I know of. Of course the CX is so stable that minor glitching probably wouldn't even be noticed. They should have done this for the CP or CP Pro. Go figure?

I would guess it is because the CX is more likely to get into hands of persons not experienced with frequency contol or R/C in general. Like the guy flying a 1/4 mile away from a santioned flying field.

RE: Why 2.4 in CX but Not CP?
Duaneh1,
When the CP first came into the market place the 2.4 systems were not available. Technology has advanced and now we have the Spectrum DX series of Transmitters. Futaba has just released ther version of the 2.4 systems.
The CX series transmitters will not work on the CP, because the CP is an e-CCPM collective pitch heli. I don't believe, the CP will be offered with the DX series transmitter to keep cost down. Also, the CP is somewhat an older bird. So many more 300 size helis are on the market now in competion with E-Flite.. It's all marketing, they want our money.
