Hi pap921,
Don't know which sim would be the best for you. I have clearview and for the $30 I am happy with it. Sounds like Phoenix has some excellent physics in it though it costs a little more. Here is a site with cables to use your stock transmitter with some simulators - check the compatability page before you buy anything.

I am using one of those cables with FMS, and all is cool.
I have not tried it with a CX2 model on it yet though, just planes. In fact I am not sure there is a CX2 model for it....
Any way the cable is highly recommended.

If you are interested in the cables' Sim Compatability,... then maybe you should go to the site and click on the link that says 'sim compatability'

I think it mostly depends on how much you want to spend. Most simulators getting to work with the controller you already have is pretty straight forward except realflight. If you want to spend nothing FMS is great for orienation. If you want to spend $30, get clearview. If you want a better sim though, you'll have to spend somewhere closer to 200. Alot of people also use aerofly professional.
