Default Spinning BCX2

FYISevere spinining probelm CX2 solved!!!

I upgraded to air vented motors, carbon boom and 900Mah Li-Po yesterday, after previously upgrading the swashplate 1246, inner shaft 1240, adding a new binded 4in1 1024, and painting the front body desert cama last week. I took a long time replacing the motors, main gears, realigning swash and etc. etc... and I tested it throughout the whole process by running up...it was all perfect...then it came time for the upgraded maiden fight.

Ran up slow...checking swash travel, top blade alignment, all by the book..eased her on up
trimmed yawl left alittle.....looking good, no vibrations...ran up a touch more and then.....Bottom blade just went crazy..... Severe spinning clockwise and the CX2 spun clockwise out of control....never lifted off...just spinning, shut down immediately. Duhh......checked everything again...ran it up..same thing. Disconnected battery, reconnected...ran up..same thing...again same thing....Shut down! Checked servos, flybar, gears, blades tightness, screws loose, alignments.....everything Okay.

Tonight ran it up again..same results....I just looked at it in disbelief .....came here checked all forums...for similar problems....a long process..nothing posted..went to several other forums and found nothing??????

Took a break, but was thinking...this CX2 has had numerous crashes, but all were repaired..and it flew well afterward. I was going to e-mail my supplier....let him read about the spinning...decided to wait, and then read the whole manual again...nothing. Read about upgrading..read about motors running backwards..read about turning the connectors over...then it hit me....I then just swithed the motor connectors over, and reversed both of them.... Ran it up again...did the same things and guess what......it hovers perfect..just a little left yawl trim, and now my bird is ready for outside flight...when the sun comes up..

I hope this helps someone..and if anybody can explain the fix....please tell me.

My next upgrade will be to flat blades. Then maybe budpro will loop for me, then a long barrel roll, and finally inverted....wish me luck. After that I will hang her up, and budpro2 will be something with one blade and a tail motor...I'll post the pics.....later dudes

mrasmm

Thanks for the welcome, and YES I am new here and to heli's.
Cx2 is just a beginning...and I hope not an end. I want to get a Spektrum dx7
and use it for my cx2...and fly my fox 50 stunt plane also...I want a sail plane
and use the dx7 to run all 3...of course, hehe...not at the same time..I like
the ad "fly what you want when you want" I have 3 friends we all fly our
cx2's in the same big room...it's amazing no interference...not like the
olds days...with a clothespin marked 30....and your antenna tagged 72/30
and impounding your tx....waiting for hours for your turn. 2.4 gig will change
alot of things.

UPDATE: This morning I flew the upgraded budpro..like it has never flown.....
steady as a rock hover and the power from those air vented was awesome.
Again...Thanks for the welcome...
fly high have fun.
