Default CX2 Fast Forward?

Hi Everyone,
Well, up until tonight I could throw a battery in my little CX2 and fly the wits out of it. Tonight, I put a battery in it and went about my normal power up and the little CX2 took off like a jack rabbit straight forward. If I would't have chopped the throttle it would have been squirrel bait after hitting the tree. Luckily, only cracked a blade on my sudden landing. Can anyone tell me what would have suddenly changed in such a short period of time to make this happen? What should I look for? I have been flying this little guy for about 6 months without a hitch. Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Things do go bad on these, you know this right?

Yeah I'd say you did not perform the preflight check, or it decided mid flight to crapout on you. Before every flight you should check all servo movement(no one does but just saying, when you get to a bigger bird you will pay dearly if it's not right.

Check servo movement. Especially the left one. make sure swashplate is level.

After Drunk Yoda's post,
Did you poke the battery in too far? Lift it by the flybar and look at the center of gravity. (COG)

make sure swashplate is level.
...and make sure the swashplate has not separated.
