Does anyone know if these would work on a CX2? Looking at the dimensions of the two (rotor span and length) it looks like they probably won't as the cx2 seems quite a bit smaller, but then, I'm really new to this so I could be wrong. According to wikipedia the cx has a rotor span of 34cm and a length of 40cm while the cp has a rotor span of 52cm and a length of 69cm. I'm thinking that if the bodies are designed for the blade cp, they'd throw off the cg of the cx...
Am I more or less right, or wrong? Someone tell me I'm wrong because i'd like nothing more than to have a blacked-out Hughes 500D for a heli [>:]

Hi Dart, do u have any bodies that r clear? If I'm gonna purchase a scale body, the windows will have to be clear. I wanted the Bell 222, if u know of any1 with a clear body Bell 222, it will be appreciated.
Here r a few mods, I did to a CPP, I bought 6 months ago. I inserted the aluminum head and twin tailmotor mod's. I didn't insert them, my brother Schuyler did 98% of the work, I just sat there, drank beer and watched. I'm not a very good mechanic, if it wasn't for him, I would be in serious trouble, he's a great person!!! This CPP has never crashed and has more flights than I can remember.
Ty for your help.

I will be out of town this week but when I return I will be introing a new Bell 222 and Airwolf for the micro cp helis. At the moment I dont have clear windshields but that wouldnt be a problem to make. Also I can form bodies out of clear Plastic. The side windows would only need flat stock clear plastic. I myself usually leave the side windows out for cooling. Heres a couple pics of the bodies. I fly all my bodies on a minimum stock setup. Having a brushless system is only a plus.

On a side note I may add, I usually fly all my scale helis idle up off(most of the time), flat main blades and I adjust pitch curves and throttle curves as needed (using computer radio). If Im using Stock radio I usually adjust the pitch links which I normally add in a few degrees of positive pitch to comphensate for the added weight of the fuselage. As far as batteries I suggest a good 3s 1000-1320 MAH 15-20C battery(ies)

Wow, I didn't know I would possibly need all kinds of mods for a scale fuseladge. Everything I have is stock, except the heli head and the tailrotor mod. Could I apply a Bell 222 body and not have to buy bigger batteries, brushless motor and all that good stuff? Also, if u formed me a clear 222 body, would I be able to mask the windows, so I could paint the body and leave the windows clear? I'm not sure if it matters, but I have a CP pro, not a CP.

Not really alot of mods needed on most bodies. As I said ive flown almost all mine in stock configuration and the only exception is those models that were elevated tail models which all I did was lengthened the tail motor wires and put the tail motor in the scale location. Yes, clear bodies can have the windows masked. It dosent matter about your heli being a Cpp

I have Darths A-Star body and the only really hard part about the kit is cutting it out from the mould plastic. I found that very difficult but you might have no problems at all. Since I have super skids on my BCP I had to modify the bottom of the body but stock landing skids are no problem at all.
Someday I plan to finish the A-Star and remount it on my HBFP Mk3 or I might just get his Kiowa or Bell Jetranger body and maybe have Darth cut it out for me :-)
oh yeah, and Darth has great customer service, he guided me as I went with his own pictures for my referance.

Roger that Scott, it was just a joke. I hate having to speculate when trimming bodies and cowlings on airplanes , looks like I will have to do the same, if I get the 222 body I want, o well, this is the hobby I chose.
