I just got done upgrading every thing on my cx2 (except the longer shafts) Just before I replaced the stock motors for the 180's my run time went down from 8-10 min. down to about 5 min..Even with the new motors its down at about 5min. The batteries only have about 20 flights each (I have 3). Is it possible its the 4 in 1? I havent checked the full charge voltage yet .Does anybody know what thats supposed to be? It flys great other wise .I can hover it in my living room and put the controls down and it stays there untill it starts to drift to the floor even on full throttle.Otherwise outside I fly it hard and fast .Help!!![sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

Most likely it is your battery. Checking the battery with a meter can give false info. The meter will only tell you voltage and not capacity. Trying a second battery would be an easy test. For the xtreme motors I would recommend a high c rated battery such as the DN Power 15c 850 mah. With this battery you will have good run times and you can feel the extra power from the higher 15c rating.

You may be right about it being the voltage and not the capacity. I only have 1 set of flights outside (all 3 batteries)since I changed the motors . The problem arose with the old motors and the new 180's do the same . I bought the batteries about 2 weeks apart and all do the same thing.I have done a flight inside just a straight hover and it to lasted about 5 min.I havent personally timed it but notice the shorter running time. Will the DN batteries charge "safely" with the stock charger? For all I know the charger's my problem. The charge time seems the same. O'well more $$$$$$$$$$$.[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

The dn power batteries will work with the stock charger. As long as you are not high altitude you should be getting at least 8-10 minutes run time. 10-12 is common.
