I was wondering what type of blades people have out there. What are better the carbon fiber, stock blades, or i believe the wooden blades. If anyone out there can give me some advise on if i should upgrade or should i just stay stock....

I'm still flying stock/standard blades.
But I'd really want to use the other blades (much tougher, more agility, better handling and performance i think), but i don't have the bladegrips yet.
Was thinking about changing to the BladeCX2.com grips, but hear/read they're so crappy (unbalanced, need user modification, but most important HEAVY!). Also thought about the Esky/Graupner bladegrips, but they didn't go with the E-flite Aloy/Alu parts and didn't want to change these.
I'm waiting for KR's Hobbies (www.xtremecx2.com / www.krshobbies.com) to release the Xtreme bladegrips, which will work with the E-flite stock AND Aloy/Alu parts (ordered another bunch of upgrades from them as well).
What grips are you guys using in combination with what blades? (An extention of the question/poll of the thread-starter)

That's an excellent look. I hadn't seen them until now. Thanks. I'm still running almost entirely stock parts. I found that the parts last a lot longer when I quit running into things - like the ground. I did go with upgraded boom, skids, upper flybar head, bearings and heat sink - and of course my flybar mod.

I`m using the extreme blades from miracle-mart and the ali blade grips.

Those grips fit on E-flite aluminium parts? I've seen grips for the Lama v3/v4 will those fit as well? (I remember reading somewhere that you needed different linkages to use these?)

See that is the look I want to get to... My thing is I bought a falcon 3d and crashed it badly, and then I realized i was in over my head to begin with... So I bought my CX2 and like soloboss, Crashed it (several times)... But now getting the hang of it.... I have the ali inner shaft for it cuz the orginal one broke. And now i just ordered the xtreme boom and skids, with the canopy and shortened flybar for it... And eventually i will upgrade blades and all that when im not crashing it as much.... :-)

I have the AL MH blade grips and use the extreme blades on the bottom
for lift and the MH blades on top for manuverability...I think that combo
is a little better than extreme on both upper and lower...John H.
