Default Sold my DX7, how 'bout Futaba 7C w/ BCP?

I got a DX7 to use w/ a Trex450 but couldn't resist using on my BCP (using the 4n1 'hack' and upgraded HS-55 servos) Boy did it make all the difference in the world!

However, I sold the radio along w/ the 'Rex opting out of hi end heli's.

Still like to have a computer radio for the BCP. I can get a new Futaba 7C TX for around $170 and put the old RX back in the 4n1. A DX7 TX and RX would cost around $280.

I loved the ease of programming of the DX7 and the tiny RX antenna of the RX, but I'd hate to spend that much just for this application.

So.....any feedback on the Futaba 7C? Especially love to hear from anyone who's had both radios.

Thanks,

doc

Default RE: Sold my DX7, how 'bout Futaba 7C w/ BCP?

I had the futaba 7C for over a month or so and fortunatly I sold it. It is like a toy compared with my JR8103. If I would need to buy either a Futaba 7C or a DX7 I would go for the DX7 hands down.
