Default heat sink paste

Is the heat sink paste/compound the silicon based compound like you can get in radio shack? it is used for electronic components

yup, same stuff. use it between the motor and heat sink

I got mine from a computer store that does repairs. Just another option.

Thanks for the info. I was confused I thought it would cement the parts together. So if I am thinking right its a silicon based paste that is easily removed if necessary and will aid in heat transfer between the motors and heat sink?
