Default What size is the CX2?

When I asked about sizes of heli's the other day people were talking about 400, 450, 500, 600 etc....so I was wondering what size is the CX2 considered to be...300, 350?

Thanks...josh

I loaned my camera to my gf for the weekend joshiese, otherwise I would line up a Blade CX2, A Blade CP, A Esky Honeybee King V2 and a TREX. She will be home tomorrow nite, if no one else gets a pic of the helis, I will do one tomorrow nite and post it for ya!
I will try one with the phone cam.......see if it works ok. If so, will edit this post and add it.

Josh, I just shot this pic so you can at least see the difference between the CPP and the CX2. The CP Pro is 20.7" long and the CX2 is 16.42" long...Main rotor diameter of the CX2 is 13.60" where as the CPP is 20.3". The CPP is considered to be a 300 series. The CX2 ? Not sure.. A toy class ? lol ! It will always be one of my favorite, even when I move up to a TREX someday. Another pic is of my dad's TREX 600 next to also a CPP, and of course it is a 600 series, with about a 53" main rotor span...Best thing to do is go to the hobby shop and see in person the diff, and of course drool !! Hope this helps, Jeff

That pic quality just sucks on mine. Online it shows it at 278kb. when I edited it to rotate it, dropped it down to 17kb. I can post the original and see if it helps any. It is sideways tho...so you will have to lay down to see it.....heh!

Arrow, but when ya do get the camera back, could ya put up the pics, because I'am interested in seeing the HBK2...Especially next to the CPP. I haven't really came across any "good" pics of one as I want to see it with the upgrades ya got also. Seems a lot of people love that particular heli, and I hear it's a dream to fly with a few upgrades...Thanks bud, Jeff

Wow; great collection !

But I think the original question is; is a CX2 a 300, 400. . .

Is that the Gram weight Class? What does the numbers mean?

Inquiring Minds want to know.

Yeah I think that is what it is too...

So in terms of engine size, the CX2 would be a 200, the CP PRO would be a 300, and the new 400 will be 400.
In terms of sizes I guess its CX2 at 16.5", CP PRO at 21", and the new 400 at 27".

Ok, that makes sense then....

I see; so You would kinda round up the 180 to 200.

What is a T-REX; is it a 600?

Thanks.

The electric T-Rex is a 450, nitro T-Rex is a 600.

Actually, My dad's TREX 600 is all electric. Two seperate batteries of course, one for the main (about $250-300 for a batt) and another smaller for the electrics. It's quite a machine ! lol ! But I'll be sticking with the 450 series....
