hey guys, can anyone tell me if i could use my 1010 thunder power charger and 205 balancer with the batterries for the cx2, (would have to change the ends to fit into the 205) seems im almost going backwards here, started with a venture 30 cp 3 months ago then a trex last month and now the cx for some indoor fun times for the winter, I HATE the cold!!! just picked it up yesterday and hoping my wife will try it, hehehheheh, and my 9 year old can learn on it and the sim, he wants to try the rex hahahah, baby steps right? Thanks in advance and do you think i need addiction counselling?!!! Bob

Addiction counseling....I think we all need that
Don't know your answer on the power charger but I'm sure one of the boys in the collective will have the answer shortly

You can surely use the Thunderpower charger for the little 7.4V 2S batteries. But make REALLY sure you set it to the right current (amperage and voltage)
.
It's quite a bit lower than most batteries you'll use for your other heli's
.
But you can't use your balancer, as its for 3 and 4 cell LiPo's if i'm correct. My guess it won't balance correctly with one less cell connected, as it'll read a major imbalance and will only try to 'charge' the 'empty' cell. At least, that's what i think
.
Why not use the stock charger? Works perfectly fine and keeps them fairly balanced too!

Oh, you have come to the right place for counselling. Boy can we take care of you, Bobby.
This merry band of fools called by some, "The Collective" will be ever so happy to assimilate you. Unlike the the other collective (Borg?) you will be encouraged to keep your own thoughts, as long as you don't keep them to yourself. We invite cheerful banter and we do have occasional disagreements as we sort things out. In the end Truth is good for The Collective.
Don't let this foolishness fool you - behind the oddball names and zany stories live some truly brilliant, educated and imminently practical minds. This is a fun place to hang out, but be prepared to loose a lot of your spare time here.
