This thing only gains 12 degrees over room temp at the batts and motors over a 10 minute flight. And you can see my align battery strap also.

For proper canopy venting I prefer inverted flight! Bigger holes

Now that's what I call Ventilated !
Dropped a Gram or Two on the weight, which will help with motor temps. too. Won't have to work as hard.

I believe that you have fouled the aerodynamics of the canopy by disrupting the laminar air flow. Regrettably, this may result in increased drag and reduced lift.
