Default Training Gear Help

Hey guys I just got some training gear from my lhs and it only came with 3 little silicone tube thingys that secure the balls. Anyone have any suggestions or experience on what you have used to secure the balls? I was considering gluing them but not sure if that would add weight to the training gear

don't need much to hold 'em still on the sticks (no real pressure to move, just keeping them from wandering) - how about cutting them in thirds?

black tape comes to my mind

Glue can be used too, no problems. But be sure the glue doesn't eat away the pingpong ball .
No worries about the weight, the weight you're adding with the traininggear is far more .

But it can handle that weight quite well. Just wait until you start upgrading/modding .
Mine is relatively porky and flies as a dream.

Why don't you just get the training kit from E-Flite?

The thingies are bits of fuel line. The LHS has rolls of it.

You don't need no stinking training gear. Just take it easy and get some super skids.

Strip some insulation off of some 14 or 16 gauge wire and use that on the rods to secure the balls.
