what the heli is a reflex? - i assume its a coaxial?
should we open the contest to all coaxial heli's, or even all heli's?
i have a walkera 5#5b that i could enter
there's nothing like a big trex doing a inverted hands-off hover although i wouldn't want to be around if something went wrong before you could grab the tx !!!

The Reflex is a coaxial air hogs heli. I have one that I got to fool around with inside. It's pretty much indestructible but almost impossible to control.

brook you can control it but it takes some moddification, mine flies great, dropped a bunch of excess plastic off of it to give it better lift, and swapped out the stock motors and props for a set off of a air hogs aero ace plane. theres alot of tweaks for it

I haven't seen the tweaks and would like to - it has plenty of lift but I can't control any sort of direction on the thing.
I have flown a havoc and actually prefer it to the reflex.
Maybe I just can't fly the thing?!

screw it whatever heli you have if you can make a video of it flying in a hover without needing to adjust it, then post the video, lets see who knows there balancing skills with any type of heli, as the original thread goes we'll make trophies according to the type and scale of the heli being shown. so lets see some impressive videos, chris

I can't wait to try this one. A trimmed reflex without the throttle spring in the tx should be easy! The HEAVY LIFT with reversed main drive motors should be even more stable. What are we looking at as far as a time table for completion/ posting?
EDIT: I want to see any scaler do a head-stand, hands off! To me that would take the title hands down (mega cudos to those that would turn a perfectly good helo upside down. $$$$$$ @ stake on that one!!!!!!) For us "lightweight" guys just a steady hands off hover should suffice!
