Sounds like that's mostly true - but if he stayed on the ground he wouldn't have a broken A-arm.

Hey! - Just like a helicopter, he broke his toy when he collided with the ground! As long as it's in the air, nothing gets broken.

Hey......I'am trying...! It's just that in the learning phase of these heli's, crashing gets expensive !

Have a good one,

How do you like your 450? I just finished a quick flight with my V2 out in front of the house. I've been messing with some HB King II's and there OK but nothing like the T Rex. I got a chance for a quick hover with Blade 400 the other day and to be honest it ain't no T Rex. There's no substation for quality. I need a 600. Sorry guys not trying to "hijack the tread"

Good for you my friend...! I really think you won't look back... [8D] In answer to Mike above, I couldn't even describe how much I'am impressed with such a heli as the TREX. Because it's so darn stable, nice, (and still shiny...Lol) I find it hard to take her out, as I don't want to have that first crash just quite yet...!!! But that will come to change soon......

Take care buddy,

-- Jeff

P.S.-- Here's something for ya Gary----- My heli isn't even all the way perfectly dialed in yet, and when in a hover, I can turn the nose in any direction and it stays....I can take my thumb off the left stick for a good moment in time, and it stays...Talking about crazy and stable...Absolutely NO COMPARISON to the CPP or many other heli's out there........

you know, i like the 400-size falcon 3d ep better right now than my hdx450 - i just wonder if it is the clone part of the trex clone that the hdx 450 is, that makes it not as 'tight' to pull pitch on as the falcon 3d, or it may be the heavy alumibling on the 450 as opposed to the plastic 400 - everybody talks up their 450's but i have yet to see one pull off a almost-motionless hover, and its so much more money to build and fix - i'm starting on the 600 cf tonight btw, so if the trex is the great and wonderful ultimate heli, then i guess i'll find out - i just hope it can pick up the camera

Edge--

Here is my second hover ever with the Trex...I wasn't trying to achieve a motionless hover, but it might help ya to see it really is a nice and stable heli. I'am thinking your HDX is possibly the same to. Lots of set-up still to do, and half way figured out the DX-7, so looking forward to better improvements...Lol.. I was tinkering last night, and got a 15 second hover with my left thumb off the stick ! I'll download it on You-Tube later, or try for better as my fingers were frozen in the garage...

hey j - mine hovers ok (not as tight as yours), but i'm talking about lift vs weight- too much bling for my taste - i'd like to find one of those plastic 450 trexes though

I'am thinking that's what's on my side also..! the SA has the aluminum frame, so I think it provides a little more stability for learning. You got so many heli's and I know your swimming in parts so maybe keep it in mind...

Take care buddy,

-- Jeff

Oh.....Here, I was playing last night, I'll try for better later...I'am going to take off the 315mm blades however, (For 3-D) and put on the 325mm woodies for better stability, as they say.

My sugestion sell all but one car, dump the girfreind. That will free up tons of cash for your RC stuff. Keep the dogs there the only thing in life you can depend on.
