the S60 servos on the CX2 seems to be a source of problem not just for me but also a friend that has a CX2...
I have 3 CX2.....[lost one got another then recovered it and built another from spare parts]
all 3 of them experienced servo failures.. i might just have some bad luck or something.
But they failed on their own and never caused by a crash...
At one time 1 of my CX2 suddenly gets 5~6 flight time instead of 8~11 minutes and could not figure it out
im thinking motors or the 4n1/bearings/friction etc. i looked for possible causes, swapped parts out of my
good CX2 ...still same problem then one day one of the working servo just died no power/response..I replaced it
and it fixed the low flight times problem....so a servo though working perfectly can drain the
heli and cause low flight times...i though that was odd.
the rest are failing on its own by chattering...slight vibrating/erratic movement of the servo arm and you could
hear the servo motor chatter/run non stop at first the chatter is slight as not to affect flight
but it gets worse....this is the most common failure I have and had probably 5~6
servos fail like that.
a friend of mine had same problem 2 servo failures and he's had heli for 6 months
and total 2~3 hr flight time on it so its barely used.
I bought a HITEC HS55 long time ago but never did install it ...don't remember the reason but i think it will
not fit on the CX frame.
