Default Replacement blades for 400

My LHS doesn't have any Eflite blades in stock for the 400, but they do have several types of Align blades. Can I use the 325 mm Trex blades on the 400, or should I hold out untill they get the originals. I'm open to suggestions about better blades for this bird as well ........

I hope the answer is yes 'cause I bought a set (align's 325) as a backup that I havent needed to try yet.

The Blade 400's blades are 325mm right, maybe 315. Anyway yes they should be fine. If you want a performance upgrade get some carbon fiber blades for the trex.

From what I've read the Align blades are thicker where they fit into the blade grips and need to be sanded down a little.
Let us know how it goes.

I'm not sure I would be comfortable with sanding down blades..., but I know I've seen align's on the 400...not sure if the guy sanded or not.

By the way, what kind of performance increase are we to expect from carbon fiber blades (I'm very new, and I just thank God if I can keep my balsa blades intact)

I also want to go carbon because I love the look..[8D]

now, about that carbon canopy....

I think I'll pick up the Align carbons this weekend and see how
they work. I'll post something as soon as I can as to how they work out ...
