what are the differences between the CX and CX2? I've got a blade CX2 my brother wanted one and the hobby shop was out so he got a CX. I'm going down there later so we can fly together, but until I can inspect it I wanted a heads up.

The main, original difference is the radio, the CX2 has the 2.4Ghz radio. Current CX2s also now have aluminum top hub, thermal circuit protection for the motors, and a 3-in-1 unit and separate receiver instead of the 4-in-1 unit.

Oh yeah, the most important difference :-), the CX is yellow, the CX2 is red!

cool!!! thanks for the info!!! I just wanted to make sure it was still basically the same so the mods and stuff I'm getting from you guys can work with his Helli also.

And the cx is going to be better tonight because I will be flying it
