I'm installing a SportBEC to my B400, and am trying to gain access to the rear of the EC3 plug to solder on the + and - leads. If I can avoid stripping insulation off the back end, that would be best... But I can't see any part of either pin under tension (like a molex pin) to remove it from the plastic connector.
Is it even possible? I figure once the wires are free from the blue connector, it should be an easy matter of soldering the leads on the back of the bullet connectors and popping them back into the blue connector.
