i purchased this:
http://www.dimensionengineering.com/EasyLights.htm
i have it plugged into "aux" on the heli. how do i use the knob to turn them on or off while in flight?
for some weird reason they stay off when the heli is armed but just sitting still. once my throttle is at about 50% they light up. and when the throttle goes under 50% they go back off again.
edit: wait, i mayve answered my own question. i hooked it up to the "gear" plug and it seems to be working now. can someone confirm this maybe? thanks.

Some plug somewhere is also controlled by the throttle. I know that the lights will come on at 50% throttle and go off when you close the throttle. Not sure about much else though.

You need this! !
http://www.hansenhobbies.com/products/onboardacc/ners/
Plug and play install and NOW you can control with channel 5 knob.
I use mine for a flood light that I could turn on and off; and hooked up my homemade lights and strobe to the batt channel so on all the time.
