It affects how all the servos act together. It is kind of like servo reversing, but it affects more than one servo. There are Elevator, aileron, and pitch. Once you have all the individual servos moving in the right direction with servo reversing and they move together wrong then you go into swash mix. For example if the Pit is going up when it should go down then you just make the value the opposite of what it was. For example it was +60% and you needed the opposite it would be -60%. Then that should make your Pit go down instead of up. That applies to the elev and aileron too in the swash mix. Hope that helps.

You can also use it to get more or less response out of cyclic and pitch. For example if you want more pitch range for loops/rolls/flips then increase the percentage for AIL/ELE. Or if you want it more "tame", decrease it.
