Stock head speed in normal?
Hey does anyone know what the stock head speed is in a hover in normal mode?
First day i had the blade 400 out and was pushing it pretty hard when it looked like a high speed blade stall happened out of the bottom of a move.
after the rebuild i looked at the way it setup from the factory. The main thing was that all the servor arms were low(off centre). With the servos like this there is machanical advantage from hover up. makes the stick soft from hover down.
kinda makes sense why the blade snaped out off the air pulling hard out of the bottom of a move. just too much angle of attack on the blades.
anyway its all pretty true now.
On my nitro helis I all always just looked for the woble and added about 50 rpm.
I am looking for the stock head speed numbers as to low can put to long of a heavy load on the motor.
