1. Is it too late to buy a new HBK2, what I mean is, is it likely that a HBK3 will be out by the end of the year?
2. Is the orange esky lipo charger ok? Does it fully charge the battery, also stopping the charge when it's full?
Thanks!

The HBK2 is a popular helicopter so they will probably sell plenty more before they come out with a new model. I haven't heard of them making a new HBK so I don't think there will be one for awhile. I don't have that charger so I can't comment on how good it is.

Can't comment on the charger, however I do know that the latest King II is coming out with a 2.4ghz tx and rx. Great step up from old FM. Don't have one to play with yet. Esky is backordering right now and supply is a little thin. Have a look around there are a few sites showing stock on them.
You will want to do three upgrades right out of the box, go brushless motor and esc, and get the Xtreme 43 tooth pulley for the tail. Worth every penny.

It is out already. And it's great. I think they should have improved on the heli first rather than the RX/TX, but that's just my opinion.
The orange charger in my oppinion is very poor. For cheap inexspensive charger use an e-flight (non blinky grey version).

Hmm... I've been searching for this thread. I meant to put it in the esky forum of course.
Still though, helpful responses. Thanks.
