This is kinda ironic that this just happened to me cuz BMCQ52 cx2 just got stuck too... but i was just flying outside and i was pretty high up doing some speed runs (i got a flybar mod and extreme motors) and i guess the wind blew or something but now its stuck about 30-50 feet up in a pine tree i tried throwing baseballs at it but they wouldn't reach. Its dark outside now so i gess i gotta wait till tomorrow but my lipos guna die and i have a lipo alert thats guna be loud and annoying tonight, anyway maybe ill borrow one of my friends airsoft guns or something and try to shoot it down when i get home from work tomorrow
Its possible that my cx2 is a permanent resident of my pine tree though but i guess these things happen and besides i ordered a belt cp a couple days ago

get some long rope and tie a heavy ball/rock or somthing to it, then toss it over the branch and feed the end back down. Make sure you have both ends of the rope then shake the branch like a mad man and get ready to catch it. I won't recommend an airsoft gun. My guns are shooting at 350fps and would just rip through it. Good luck. Take a video if you decide to shoot it down

If you don't rough up the CX2 and just let it die, the damage may be minimal. The battery will be a total loss, but when it dies the electronics will be safe. As far as the motor, new brushes and a new break-in may be all that's needed.
There was a post in this forum waayyyy back from a guy who lost a yellow CX in a bean field. It seems the CX is the same color yellow as the beans are when they blossom. So it was perfectly camouflaged. Then the beans went green and they got too tall. Anyhow the the heli was in the bean field until harvest time and the combine driver spotted it. It need a good bath and a new battery, but it worked fine after being out all summer in the rain and such.
I hope you are as lucky!
Maybe you need a low powered bow and rubber tipped arrow - a professional grade "Kid's" bow and arrow.
Or enlist the services of a 60 size gas helicopter with a 20 foot string and hook hanging down.
Or a tornado. Call the national weather service and see if you can buy a tornado. Or just rent a little one for a few minutes.
Sorry. It's not funny. I stuck my CX in a tree - upside down over the river across the street. I was lucky. With full throttle and a lot of stick work, I pulled the skid off the frame and the heli came loose - at full throttle - inverted - heading straight down toward the river. Of course I saved it and I still have the CX because I'm just such an excellent flier.
Actually I still have it because I used my 'Dumb Luck" card for the day.
Hmmm. "Dumb Luck Cards" If I got some printed and sent the box to the Vatican to get them blessed by the Pope, I could sell them on Ebay and make a fortune!
Anyhow, best of luck with the CX. Let us know how you do with it.

ok Mastermechainc5. The only option left is to teach you how to be a NINJA! These are very secret arts [:-], but you'll have your helicopter down in no time.
