I am not sure which one it is but don't make your adjustments at the transmitter always start at the gyro if you have the manual you can refer to it...if not go to the eflight web site to download it... I hope you can figure it out if not I am sure there is some one here that can help...

deerslayer - your gyro has a trim pot on the receiver. The CX2 manual spells it out pretty well. Make small adjustments - the manual will tell you which way to trim it to correct tail drift.
I have found that a 1/8 turn is a lot. Always test your corrections with your transmitter trim centered. You do not need to replace the front cowling between tests - this will speed things up a bit but remember that the cowling does provide protection in a crash so leave it off only if you are comfortable doing so. This is an interesting complaint. I have never had this problem with my CX2 but I have heard of alot of people with this issue. Try adjusting your gyro. Don't adjut it too much or you will have problems. The only major issue I have with my newest one, which i just got the other day, are the defective rotor blades, which broke off before the heli even left the ground.

Turn your proportional potentiometer counter clockwise. Then adjust the gyro gain until the tail wags and turn it counter clockwise a little until it stops.

What the guys said above is a great path to take in solving your problem. I would like to add a few things for you to know and try. So when you make adjustments on the 4-1 you MUST unplug your battery each time. In other words, fly it, land it, unplug it, make that 1/8 turn or less, reconnect and test fly-over and over and over until you stop the spinning problem. Another important tip is, the heli will act differently as the battery starts to go down, so do be aware.
The second tip is to check your shafts. Wind up the heli, not enough to lift off and then shut it down and watch the blades spin. Under optimum conditions they will spin and slowly wind down and stop one before the other. If one stops faster than the other by "far" then you might have a shaft binding which then restricts it thus not letting keep up with the other blade to make you fly straight. I have lived this and like you had my trim slid all of the way over and she still wanted to spin and this is how solved my issue. I would just urge you to take this small little test and observation before you get into the 4-1. Unless you have crashed hard the trim pots generally don't need to be adjusted.
