Default Blade CX2 with 3 cell?

Is it possible to use a 3 cell battery(one stock for blade cp) with the cx2? Will it burn the motors? Give me more flight time, act the same as a 2 cell or what? Im clueless. Ive just been noticing that my cx2(i got the new seahawk body, I think its heavier) has been using more power. Ok thanks

people do use 3 cell lipos with there cx2, but you have a chance of messing up your 3 in 1 and motors

Ya, you can, but I tried a 3-cell battery in mine a few weeks ago and burnt out my 3-in-1 motors.
