just wondering does anyone know who makes the tx for the cx 1 . i know most companys use other top brand radios in there rtr's . if i could i would like to get a rx for tx so i could use it in other model's .

Get something like a Berg 7P with autoshift.
It will work with any brand 72Mhz transmitter, you will also need the Berg crystal for your channel.
There are a number of other receiver with shift select or auto shift by other manufacturers, like Hitec for example.
