Default Help on Lift-Off

Relativily new to all this, I managed to crash my Blade CX2. That crash broke the lower head, so I got an aluminium replacement and followed the instructions to replace the broken plastic part with a new aluminium one. Fine, all done. Blades also changed.
Now, I try to get it to lift off and it simpl;y spins its blades on the ground, trying hard to lift but without (it seems) the power to do so. It simply stays on the ground and spins its Blades.
What have I done and what should I do to get this heli airborne...

Hi,
I don't have a CX2, but I do have a Blade CP. That happened to me after I crashed. The problem was the main gear was not flush against the gear on the motor. The motor must have come loose a little and it moved a bit when I crashed. I "reseated" the motor so it was flush again against the main gear, and it was airborne again. So give that a look.
Hope this helps!!

Let's start at the top and check off each item:

Is the flybar bent? Does it bob up and down freely?
Are the top blades cracked, chipped or otherwise broken?
Is there any damage to the linkage between the flybar and the top blades?
Is the Inner Shaft bent?
Is the outer shaft bent?
Is the lower head installed correctly? Are the top screws going through the holes in the outer shaft?
Is the outer shaft binding on the swash? Is the swashplate installed correctly? Are the linkages damaged?
Is the retaining colar tight against the top of the upper ball bearing? Is there any play in moving the outer shaft up and down (it should not be able to move up or down)
Are the teeth on the main gears broken or stripped?
Are the main gears meshing properly with the motor pinions
Do the upper and lower blade assemblies spin with relative ease? Are they binding?
Are you sure your battery is properly charged?

Thanks guys. I have trouble with changing a tire two...

I am going to work my way through all your suggestions, but the motor mount seems to be something. When I had the heli apart, the lower blade did not turn when the throttle was applied until I moved the other controls. Then everything was fine. So I will check out the main gear as my starting point.

I did manage to get the replacement upper head off on, a major mechanical victory if one overlooks the missing small screws and such. Ah well, tomorrow we shall try again...
