Wow, this thing is tiny!. Right when i picked it up from the lhs, i couldnt wait to get home and fly it. I had the battery charging whilst driving home. First off, get a second or third battery. The 10 dollars per battery is a great little investment. Once i finally got home i went straight to the basement. (first flight) I lifted off and the thing flat spinned like crazy. I gave it full right trim but it kept spinning left. So what i did, re-binded the TX. After i did that. everything was fine. This thing flys great. Very stable. But i think it lacks in forward flight capabilitys. So what i did was reduced some wieght in the tail. I trimmer about 1/8 inch off the tail fin. Then i cut about 1/4 inch of the tail boom. After that i remounted the tail fin upside down. Now it flys like a beast! =] Great purchase, just takes some tweaking.
Hope this helped,
andrew

I agree.... Spare batteries are a must ! I also did the same for the weight loss in the rear... Also by making the boom shorter, not only do you lose the weight, but it also makes it a bit more rigid and stronger, as the longer that boom is the more flimsy it will be and the more likely of it breaking off from any crazy flying tactics that we may throw at the MCX...
Glad your enjoying it... I have the funnest times with mine also ! I keep glancing outside for the last few days to see if the wind has calmed down so I can take mine outside again, since I've tweaked with it some more... I'am really gonna launch this sucker hard when I do...!...LMAO...
Take care feller,

This is actually my second heli. My first is a cp pro. And i also fly fixed wing. i have a hangar9 twist 40 and a seagul models edge 540. The only thing i found that i dont like, is the tx that comes with the rtf. the throttle on it is to easy to move. It just makes it hard to keep a steady height.

This thing looks pretty cool but i still dont know if i want one. Its between this and the Cessna Centurion 210 (the really small one from park zone). So any flaws and/or plusses to this little heli would be great.

Cant wait to see some mods for these. Then I might get one. I like my cx2 for terrorizing my wifes cat, this looks like it could be even more fun.

i too chopped my tail right to the edge of the blade (about a inch) and got the paddle version of the flybar and cut 1/2 of those off and its insane how much better it flies i even crash goin into turns because it picks up so much omentum with a lil extra left and full throttle lol
