Default MCX flight time

Have a new MCX but there seems to be a problem. The heli only flies for about 2-3 minutes before the rotor speed decreases and starts to spin. I put the battery on the charger and the charger light starts to blink within the first couple of minutes of the charge cycle. After about 5 min the charger stops blinking completely. If I put the battery back in the heli I only get 2-3 minutes of flight time. Any ideas?

Regards

I have changed from the stock batteries to new AA's. Does not seem to make a difference. The light blinks indicating the charge cycle is complete within 5 min.

I have the same problem... it is not the battery... it is the 5in1... it is sensing that the battery is drained and going into "protect mode" (flashing the light and reducing the blade spin). If you bring it down for a landing, let it sit for a second or two, you will be able to fly again for several minutes until it happens again. If it keeps happening, then the battery is truly near its safe discharge level and should be placed back in the charger for charging.
