Default phoenix help

How do I set the controller to PPM mode. I just installed Phoenix and that is what it said to do. I have the dx6i.
Also why is it that no helicopters can get off the ground at full throttle. I calibrated the controller and also in the controller its self everything is set to e flite's factory settings. I even tried resetting the controller. I also tried some other models but it didn't work.

I have version 2.00q.

Hey empty,

I was meaning to follow up and see if you ever got Phoenix, I knew you had ordered it...

Glad to hear that you got it setup and running!

It's a great sim, I like it alot...I think it tends to be a bit more realistic (challenging) than G4 for the most part...plus, you are using your actual TX unit, which I also like alot too...

Enjoy!

rotarydoc, I got it like a week ago but never had the time to install it. Its awsome, online is so much fun. THis one game everyone kept on crashing into each other. It was a good time.

bcovish, It comes with a JR adapter. It says this one there website
PhoenixRC ships with a connector suitable for both JR MX and MC transmitter types.

They have other adapters here.

Hey empty,

I figured you'd like it alot...I have never had much luck on the multiplayer, did it work well for you?

It always seems that there is no one in North America, and there are not many people on in Europe, because of the time difference. I haven't tried it in a while, so maybe I need to try it again sometime.[]

What do you think about the way the B400 flies? I think it is very realistic, but the only one that flies well for me is the 3D one... the others have some tail control issues, that are kinda hard to work out, at least for me...but the 3D one seems to be extremely accurate to me...

How are you doing with the B400 lately?

I haven't been able to flying the B400 in about 4 days. By the time I get off of work, its 6:30 and its dark, so the only time I can fly it is weekends. Eversense I adjusted the expo, the pitch and throttle curve on the transmitter, I have been doing pretty good. I can hover pretty good all though now and again it slips away from me so I have to land it.

In the Phoenix, I think the B400 is pretty realistic also. It does that tail spin just like in real life, so I had to trim it so it doesn't spin. I'll try the 3D one and see if it doesn't spin. I can fly around and do figure 8s pretty good in the sim,but I don't want to try it out in real life just in case, not yet. I'm also having a problem landing. I land once every 15 tries, lol.

I'll be on the sim for the next couple of hours if you want to join me. PM me or answer back in this thread if you want to so I know to go online.

Do you know if there are any hacks for Phoenix? Like so the camera can be on the heli and you can fly around with the heli.
