im one impatient sob!!! Got my blade 400 yesterday, and tried to get used to the controls and have thought about the remote and the functionality for about 2 months now. I have never flown a heli nor tried a saimulator but i actually hoovered in my backyard this morning after about 3 batterys worth of jumping around my garage floor with no wind. everyone said you have to fly to learn and crash to stay interested. Well I got my first crash but not bad. I hovered for about a minute and a half then i got a little wind and set it down to hard and broke the landing gear.
I have not adjusted any settings in the remote but I would like too if I had the proper numbers. So many numbers out there im not sure what to use?
With my tail to me, the controls are correct from the factor for the main rotor but are opposite for the tail rotor. I dont know why this would be since they test fly every one.
I have bought a dsp75 servo today due to all of the reads and comments on the stock servo and will probably install it tonight!
I havent bought a battery charger yet because I wanted to get a balanced charger I could use for the 600 size as well in the future.
Youve got to excusee all the questions, im just a 35 year excited kid who has only experiace with nitro cars and trucks!! Please pardon my dirtyness

the tail goes the opesit direct but the nose goes the way you point it, it can throw you off.i could give you my settings in my dx6i, or you could go over to helifreak.com and sell sokals set up tip for the heli and radio, mine are close to his.but you`ll still do some fine tunning on your own

I found what helped me with the hard landings is to set the pitch in norm
to 42 45 50 75 100. The 42 will let it come down a bit softer. Hope this helps.
