Default MCX Speed Adjustment

I have the blade Bind and Fly MCX and have bound it to a DX6i Spectrum radio. The heli flies great, but when I saw another person flying their MCX I noticed that it was flying faster in forward flight than my own. After I asked about how he got it going faster in forward flight, he told me it was a simple click on the radios left stick. I tried out all the switches on the DX6i and none of them seems to do anything for the heli.

Does anyone know how I can gain more forward speed on this heli using the Spectrum DX6i???

Have you tried adjusting the right (viewed from behind) servo linkage tighter and then trimming out the forward drift? 4 full turns picks up FF pretty decently.

You put the forward stick expo or travel adj all the way up to 125% and don't do any of the other one's just that one's and away you go it picks up very well after that. I was told that from the tech guys at horizon and the LHS. Have fun and enjoy watch out for the walls

JPEE SAYS: I second everthing said above. I fly the DX6i and have done both adjustments, servo link and TX Travel to 125 and it makes a huge different for forward flight.

I shortened my tail and cut down the fin. Made it lighter in the back. Trimmed it up, and it seems to be faster.
