Bob,

Take the landing gear off.

Take the two screws out from the locking collar for the inner shaft.

Pull the inner shaft out.

Pull the upper bearing support off.

Take the four screws out of the lower rotor head.

Pull the lower rotor head off.

Take the links off the swashplate. And now the swashplate is free to come off.

I had my CX2 in the garage this morrning out to test a battery for a friend. I have not flown it since Oct or November and it was all over the place couldent control it at all.
Here just from setting and it was in side the house the swash plate was all gummed up and the bearings. Tore it all the way down and cleaned and reoiled everything
and was putting it back together and hear I broke the antirotation bracket that holdes the swash in the rear. From what it looks like I will have to get a new frame
I dont think it is separate from the frame. It is now setting till the JB Weld sets up.

Carl,

Yep! that is a part of the main frame. I have a few extra frames in my CX2 drawwe and I just checked. What does come off is the bracket that the carbone fiber rod goes through int he back to hold the hull on, that comes off.

Perhaps next time you store it you should put in an old shoe box or even a jumbo BAGGIE left loose a bit so she wont sweat in the bag. That would at least keep the dust out and yet let it breath.

Your video did the trick and I had my swash plate changed out in about an hour. I installed the aluminum plate and one thing I notice now is the hover is better than before and its overall movements are very smooth. Thanks again for your excellent video.

I tried JB weld and let it dry over night and it dident hold. My new trick is I cut all of it off and made a new one with a paper clip, its drying now, try again tomorrow and see if it holds.

I dident take the servos out. I just sniped off what was left of the broken plastic and used Goop to glue the bent paper clip in place. I should get a new frame and be done with it but I hate
changeing frames I did my CPP and its a ready to go still waiting for the tail up grade from the CPP2 to show up. If the Goop wont hold the paper clip mod I will make a trip to
Hobby Town. I have had a PKZ 3052 pig tail ordered for a mounth now ,I guess everyone is buying them up. I ordered one so I can charge my MCX batterys with my Hyperion charger.
