Is there a reasonable brushless replacement for the main motor on this heli? I wouldn't try to replace the tail motor, but the main motor would be a good option, in my opinion.

E-Flite/Horizon has a 370 brushless "inrunner" upgrade but I think it may also require new ESC. Have a look at their site.

The E-Flite 370 works pretty good on the CPP. I couldn't find another motor that is around the same size. The recommend 20A ESC is kind of big to fit nicely under the canopy, so I used a Castle Creations Phoenix 10. And it worked really good. Once you put the brushless motor on the tail is going to have a hard time keeping up. A external gyro will help and a GWS DD tail motor will help even more.
