I have a pretty bad issue with my blade 400. The transmitter and reciever seem to be loosing their signal or binding. I can sometimes get it to rebind and then it loses it again. I crashed the other day at around three feet with it. I will be hovering and then all of the sudden I have no control. Has anyone else had an issue like this?
It feels like the old days with 72mhz stuff.

Ive seen this problem before, on mine. Is the gyro hh led switching off the same time you loose the bind ? If so its the esc thats at fault not receiver

I noticed when mine was doing it that the red gyro light would go off at exactly the same time, and as the power from the battery goes through the esc first it seemed to be the reason.
I was going to upgrade it to a programmable esc the emax 40 amp anyway so i replaced it and that solved the problem straight away
With the eflite esc`s sometimes its down to bad soldered joints on the pcb or a failed mosfet transistor, i never found out as i changed the whole unit
