I charged my batteries and began to fly my MCX.
All seemed fine; I can pirouette to the right and to the left.
After 2 to 3 minutes, I can only pirouette clockwise. Attempting to pirouette counterclockwise will actually pirouette clockwise slowly...
Any bright ideas?

burnt out motors. time to replace. Be sure to break in the brushes nicely with the water in a cup method and they will be good to go.

sorry for newbie questions, but what is pirouette? If you replace the motors, and you probably already know this, you should clean/lube all the other moving parts.

ah...I have an mCX and it will do it both ways through the whole battery life, but counter-clockwise is a lot slower than clockwise. maybe it's because the heli controller just slows down/speeds up one motor instead of speeding up one and slowing the other at the same time.
