Dont let it drain fully.  Any time any lipo reaches low voltage itdiminishes battery life.  Msr batteries should get around 10 mins soset a timer for 9 to be safe.  I have already nearly cut in half thelife of my cx3 battery from one too many low voltage runs.  Now i setthe time on the dx6i and seems to save me everytime.

If you run it to the LVC (blinking light) You risk the possibility of losing control of the heli.

This has happened to me a few times.

You also risk reducing the capacity of the lipo battery although I didn't notice this on any of my original batteries.

I run mine for about 6 minutes each flight.

I'd recommend using a timer to be on the safe side, and get ya a few extra batteries.
