Hi. I purchased a CX2 as my first heli yesterday. Since then, I've spent 6 or so battery charges on hovering and flying around the living room a bit. Although I've yet to break anything, I am looking to upgrade some of the heli. My biggest complaint is with the battery holder. For some reason, Ihave a hard time getting the battery to slide in...it seems to bind on everything! So, I was looking to either change out the holder or remove it completely (and just use velcro?). Also, I'm interested in changing out the boom. What is the best/most popular/recommended boom kit?
Besides those two upgrades, what are some other "quick wins" for the CX2? What upgrades will make the most impact? And there are so many retailers...who is recommended? Thanks!

You might want to look at what FlyRiveSud offers. Landing skids, battery holder and longer main shaft assembly if you intend on flying outside.

1st two things - in my opinion - 20C battery &ES180 motor upgrades. Then I'd go with upgrade blades, aluminumlower head, aluminum upper extended head, aluminum swashplate, flybar weights,&bearing holder. Finally, you could go brushless, sport canopy, tailboom, shortened flybar. We fly the CX2 &love it, it's a good littleheli that can be made great but be careful who you order from, make sure it's a reputable dealer.
