esc programming help

I just went brushless and I am having problems programming the ESC. It says full throttle up , then plug in battery and you should hear a beep. then 5 seconds later another beep... but that never happens.. the three and one just flashes and never makes a beep. Help!

Hmmmmmmmm.

Make sure both the "Y" harness for power and "Y" harness for the servos are connected properly.

Should hear some sort of beep. If not, could have gotten a bad esc.

RE: esc programming help

it beeps once as I hook to batttery.. Eflite says it(ESC) is factory set "lipo on, brake off" which is what we want. so i bypass set up.... So then I pull stick down and hook to battery and wait for 3 in1 to initialize, but nothing happens. It beeps once then red blinks as normal but doesn't go green, just red and green. (((( 3 leads from motor to esc, lead from esc red wire pulled, plug into y harness, throttle lead from 3 in1 into other end of y harness, plugged harness into # 3, battery lead to 3in1, last lead into battery)))

Check if your throttle channel is reversed.
