dx8 setup for elevator

I have a Ryan STA with 2 elevator servos.If I hook up a y connector one side goes and the other down.Can someone tell me how to mix or program the aux1 channel to work one of the servos?

u need to run it one seperate channels and slave them ex channel 3 and channel 7 or run a reverser Y cable

I tried a reverse y connector and the servos just chattered.
