-25 C flying

Default -25 C flying

Do you guys think I can fly out in the winter when its minus 25 C out there??

just keep your batteries warm until you're to use them. Several of us at FVAC fly e-power all winter long.

okk thanks, well if there are inside my house at around 78 F is it good enought? and can you tell me the difference from Lipo, LifePo4 and Nano-tech batteries??

78 is within the normal operating temp of LiPos.

LiPo =lithium polymer and is usually comes in a plastic bag (i.e soft).

LifePO4 = lithium ferrite and usually comes in a "can".

As far as I know "Nanotech" is a marketing term.

Yes and No. LiPo and Nanotech are the same thing, so no problem. LIFePo4 (A123) have a lower nominal voltage and different discharge/charge characteristics. You would ahve to re-program your ESC for LiFePo4's.

You'd need to change the cut=off voltage to fit the A123 parameters
