Default Aircraft Outrunner Motor on Car ESC With Reverse

Hey everyone!Quick question.

Iwant to use a aircraft brushless outrunner motor witha car ESCwith reverse for a custom project. Iam wondering if the outrunner style motors will run in reverse correctly?

I guess Ishould also ask if the lower KV on out runners vs car motors will be an issue?

Default RE: Aircraft Outrunner Motor on Car ESC With Reverse

Major problem is the huge torque which the car-tyres will impose on the motor.
And torque means current. For example the start of the car will need huge
torque , i.e. hige current and the current protection of the controller
if it is for airplane) will cut off (maybe). So the airplane-motor is OK but
the airplane-controller might be not. Take car for cooling too - it might
be also a problem.
