Transmitters for foamies
I have been a Futaba man. When I converted to 2.4 I stayed with the Futaba because I knew the radios.
Now, I get into those great little micro-foamies and find I have to buy Ready-to-fly because I don't have a Spektrum transmitter. Looking for a used Spektrum transmitter that doesn't break the bank and I can just use with the little foamies. Any ideas what to look for?

From what I found the 4 channel radios from one RTF will control al the other 4 channel BNF planes and heli's, One exception to this is the one for the Blade SR Heli. It has settings in it for the SR tht cant be changed, so using it would be problematic.

Try the "buy and sell" section of this forum, the rcgroups forum and the WattFlyer forum. Over the past three months, I've seen the Spektrum Dx6i sell for $85-$120 and the Dx5 go for $40-$60.
