Need Light Weight Lighting
#1
Building Mountain Models L4 Grasshopper in a Marine paint scheme. Total model weight approximately 15.5 oz with battery.
Would like to add a basic lighting system with nav/position lights and a red beacon. Need help to find the lightest system
available. Does not need to be computer controlled. Just simple on/off. Could I wire directly into the receiver with an
appropriate in line resister to obtain necessary voltage range. Thanks

Here ya go. Just put a set of these on my Great Planes Electricub. My Cub has 58" WS, so I had to extend the wing tip light leads just a bit. This system works great. Plugs into a free channel (I used the gear channel) and can be turned on from the corresponding switch. The wing tip lights blink or you can reverse the plug in the control to keep them on continuously. They are really bright and the larger landing light is really bright.
